[00:00:03] Speaker A: DFAT Entertainment. [00:00:15] Speaker B: Welcome to a brand new episode of Towelite Talk. [00:00:18] Speaker A: This is Casey, and this is Chris. [00:00:22] Speaker B: This is episode 270. This marks 10 years of podcasting. We're almost done with this year. This is our 10th anniversary. Next month will be the last episode of the 10th anniversary. Chris, are you reflecting? How are you feeling 10 years later of podcasting? [00:00:43] Speaker A: You know, it's funny, I joke a lot about, like, this time vortex that we're in as we age. And all of a sudden it was like, I remember it was January. Now it's gonna be December. So I'll be saying the same thing in 10 more years when we're at, like, episode, I'm gonna guess 375 at our new pace. [00:01:08] Speaker B: In 10 years. [00:01:09] Speaker A: No, no, you're. You think we'll do 100 episodes? Yeah, maybe we'll be still doing in 10 years. No, but it's. It's. It's. It's fun. And world just gets geekier, you know, more and more cool stuff is getting made as we'll talk about today. And, you know, it's always fun hanging out. [00:01:29] Speaker B: So that's it, man. Same, you know, and. And thanks, everybody. To who. Who tune in and have been tuning in for this long throughout many countries. You know, I've talked to people throughout the years, and even recently we just bought a new car, and there was a guy I was talking about doing podcasting, the car salesman. And I was like, oh, yeah, you know, been doing it for 10 years. And he was like, whoa, holy cow, it's a long time. Oh, my God. And I'm like, you know what? Most podcasts do die. You know what I mean? Even the ones that I listen to in the be, like, a lot of podcasters and podcasts are gone. So kudos to us for surviving a pandemic and whatever the state of the world is currently that we're living in, a geeky one, which you're right. [00:02:22] Speaker A: That's where we retreat to. That's it. [00:02:25] Speaker B: That's it. Yes. [00:02:26] Speaker A: Retreat into that. [00:02:27] Speaker B: So this is 270 of the tile, like, talk therapy session. We're gonna get into Marvel News, and first things first. [00:02:38] Speaker A: Wait, that was our geeking out session? [00:02:40] Speaker B: That was. Oh, shoot. Yeah. We should geek out, right? Yeah. What are we. Right on. Sorry, sorry, sorry. I jumped the gun. [00:02:45] Speaker A: No, it's okay. [00:02:46] Speaker B: Jesus. [00:02:47] Speaker A: I mean, it's. As you said, we were. No, you're talking about, like, our retreating into the geeking outness of it. Yeah, honestly, it's. Right now. It's. It's tough anyways, because I've been doing a lot of soccer coaching and stuff like that. But what I've had time for is, of course, magic. The guy gathering. [00:03:06] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:03:07] Speaker A: As the. The new Avatar set came out as we're talking about in the pre show, a little bit. Cool set. Really cool. Like, mechanics for that set. Beautiful art on the cards. And, you know, I love that show, and I think it really does fit well into the. The overall scheme of magic and those worlds. [00:03:30] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm super excited to get into that. I've been geeking out on taking toys out of my boxes and putting them up behind me. [00:03:40] Speaker A: Oh, I see. [00:03:41] Speaker B: Because I've been, you know, I move and not everything's, you know, out. So I've been slowly working on that. And then my wife and I started the. The Pit, the, you know, medical show with Noah Wiley that won like a million Emmys. And now I'm watching it and I understand why. Insane show. If you like medical shows, there's. I mean, my wife's a doctor, so it seems extremely accurate from what she's like, Yep, okay. Yeah, you would do that. No, you wouldn't do that. That's, you know, she does that whole thing. It's kind of fun because she's not. It's usually me doing it or, you know, I mean, or you. Where you're usually being to your wife. Like, these are who these characters are that you're seeing on screen. Like, these are the relationships. This is what they're not showing compared to the comics. And, like, this is what they're doing. [00:04:32] Speaker A: Right. [00:04:32] Speaker B: Like, this is the storyline. That's usually what you and I do. And that's why we've had a podcast for 10 years. So it's been interesting for my wife to be the expert on it and to, like, teach me, like, oh, okay, I don't know about 20cc's of whatever you're putting in that man's body, but it makes for cool television. [00:04:53] Speaker A: That's good. Yeah, that's great. [00:04:57] Speaker B: Good show. [00:04:57] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. I just laughed over because I'm like, man, I should just go watch some Ted Lasso. So. [00:05:03] Speaker B: You would love Ted Lasso. You would. It's hard not to. It's such a good show. Yeah. You guys. Yeah. Yeah. Now that you're living it. Yeah, do it, man. It'll be so fun. All right, so geeking out now. We will go to Marvel News. And the first things up is Werewolf by Night is getting a sequel. Michael Giacchino is back, back. Probably on keyboard as well, as behind the camera and finally. Right. Like I. It's. When's the last one? A couple years ago now. Like, it's about time we're getting this. [00:05:39] Speaker A: Yeah. Especially since we have the next Marvel short coming out, which is the Punisher. [00:05:45] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:05:46] Speaker A: So I would love to see more of these very like, condensed episode because it was. That first one was so cool. It was really kind of a step outside of what they had been, you know, what the MCU had been. And with the MCU kind of in the tailspin at that point and like what they were doing now I feel like they've kind of righted the ship and they could do a lot of cool, more mature things moving forward. Since that they've really kind of just popped that charity of like, oh, we, we shouldn't be doing darker stuff or, you know, R rated stuff. Yes, you should. [00:06:28] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, exactly. More variety. And you know, we saw with Daredevil, they're not afraid to push it. I mean, even technically in this movie, it's extremely violent. They just keep it behind that, that black and white. But then you see the color one. Right. So it is. [00:06:43] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:06:45] Speaker B: So, yeah, keep, keep it up. Keep that tone up. Spookiness. Ben Percy is jumping on to Punisher. That's going to be coming out in February, but I believe you can pre order it now. And he'll be going up against the resurfaced Jigsaw. I don't know what to tell you. It's red band. It's. [00:07:09] Speaker A: Yeah, it's Percy. They just did. I think there's like that red band special coming out. [00:07:16] Speaker B: Yeah, they just. Yes, yes. [00:07:18] Speaker A: So they, they've been pushing both a regular ongoing for Punisher and also Marvel Knights Punisher. So Punisher is like fully back in the comics. [00:07:28] Speaker B: Nice. [00:07:29] Speaker A: As he should be. Because, you know, it was like I just said, Disney's gonna embrace doing Punisher show and Daredevil and in Spider man the movie, like, it's great. Like don't, don't shy away. [00:07:42] Speaker B: Yeah. One of the most iconic characters ever. So keep it going. Let's see. Marvel Cosmic Invasion. This is the like 90s style beat em up that has become very popular and it is coming out on December 1st for the Switch and Switch 2. There's a 15 Hero lineup in the at the moment. You know, though, I know there's going to be more and I'm pretty sure it'll be coming to Steam soon as well. So yeah, you know, it's the team behind Shredder's Revenge. So I don't really know what else to say other than I can't wait for one week. [00:08:25] Speaker A: Yeah. This game just sounded better every and every time I heard about it. You know, they just announced what, Iron man and Jean Grey. [00:08:35] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:36] Speaker A: With Jennifer Hale doing the voice of Jean Grey. Right? [00:08:39] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:40] Speaker A: Yeah. So cool. [00:08:41] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:42] Speaker A: There's even like, you know, like, bring in big voice. Act like not big big, but voice actors have done it for the show. [00:08:47] Speaker B: But tying that. Those worlds together. [00:08:50] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:08:51] Speaker B: Like, even when you heard what was it? It was insomniac. Spider man was in Midnight Suns. And it's different studios, but it's just like, how cool is that? You know what I mean? Like, it's all one cool thing. So. Yeah, I love that. I wonder if he's back for this. I don't know. Should look at the voice cast. Like, who else is in there? But we'll save that for another episode. [00:09:15] Speaker A: Yes. [00:09:15] Speaker B: But it's released. There you go. In the meantime, we're jumping over to D.C. where Brainiac is confirmed, or at least mostly confirmed to be in Mana tomorrow, which is the Superman sequel. I mean, we've been hearing about a Brainiac since Kevin Smith wrote that in that Superman movie with Nick Cage. But what do you think, like, finally, cinematically, I guess. [00:09:48] Speaker A: About time, right? It's about time. What? Why else would Superman and Lex Luthor team up? [00:09:54] Speaker B: You know, it's like, I mean, that's it. [00:09:58] Speaker A: And they said like, it's like Darkseid's not coming for a while, Right? Yeah. [00:10:02] Speaker B: And he shouldn't. [00:10:03] Speaker A: No, he shouldn't. Because, I mean, they're gonna talk about when they do the Mr. Miracle Show. And, you know, they'll be. [00:10:08] Speaker B: They can talk about him all the time. Just like Thanos is around. [00:10:11] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:10:11] Speaker B: You know, he exists. [00:10:13] Speaker A: That's exactly the point of, I think, this whole, like, universe. Like, they don't have to just build out. They're not just building up to something big right away. It's like these little insular stories that have ties to others. [00:10:24] Speaker B: Nothing to do with anything, you know? [00:10:25] Speaker A: Yeah, Peacemaker was a really cool example of that. It was a really, like, next step from Superman. Did you watch it yet? [00:10:33] Speaker B: Not yet. [00:10:34] Speaker A: Okay, watch. [00:10:35] Speaker B: I'll probably move on to that after this. We need a pallet cleanser after this heavy ass show. [00:10:41] Speaker A: The palette cleanser. [00:10:43] Speaker B: Yeah, go get it. [00:10:45] Speaker A: Get it cleansed. [00:10:48] Speaker B: That's right. But yeah, no exciting news to see him on the big screen. Fantastic. Finally. And then Jimmy Olsen, DC series, DC crime, which is heading to HBO Max. This is from American Vandal Creators, which is kind of crazy. And we're also, it's kind of like a mock docu series which will be, which will be in there. So this is cool. This is. I remember when he was talking about how, like, James Gunn had mentioned he had a new show, but he couldn't announce it. We talked about it a few episodes ago. So maybe this is finally coming into fruition. [00:11:35] Speaker A: Yeah, this is an, is an excellent idea. Honestly. Jimmy. Jimmy Olsen had his own series for way back. Way back. You look at, like, when Jack Kirby wrote, when he first entered dc, like his Jimmy Olsen comic. And, and Jimmy Olsen plays a huge role in the Superman mythos. Jimmy Olsen comics are usually like the, they just did a maxi series, I don't know, a few years ago or something like that. That was really funny. It's a really cool, like, lens to see the DC Universe through. And I think a show like this is really smart. And, like, we've already gotten hints of, like, Gorilla Grod. [00:12:15] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:12:15] Speaker A: I believe through Creature Commandos or a news article, like, whatever it was like, and that's the way to build into this. And it's just this weird, like, dichotomy of, like, the character of Jimmy Olsen's and a, like a villain that big. So what does that look like on the small screen? What does that look like in storytelling in this dcu? So awesome. And that actors. That actor's great. I really, I really enjoyed his, his Jimmy also. [00:12:42] Speaker B: I do too. And like you said, it just expands the world. See how, see how much more we are, are getting here. So James Gunn at the helm, he's been doing some fun things. All right, so let's go to a galaxy far, far away, which is Star wars, where Beyond Victory, a mixed reality playset has hit out. So you can get this via the meta quest, this VR game, it's kind of, kind of crazy. You can just, I don't know, build things in your house and play games as well. So it's kind of a little bit of augmented reality too. Just something different for the Star wars fan. [00:13:27] Speaker A: Yeah. If you in a pod racing and all that great stuff. So, like, VR pod racing sounds like a lot of fun. Probably one of the funnest things to come out of the prequels. [00:13:38] Speaker B: Yeah, for sure. [00:13:39] Speaker A: Darker, darker tone of those stories. But yeah, I, I, it's just funny with VR right now. It's just like, is VR happening? Is it not happening? And like, I don't know. We'll see when the, that whole new steam line of stuff gets dropped because it's interesting to see like do you go and buy something where it's like the PlayStation VR that's not doing well and then I again not really pushing it. Or you go buy something that you know is PC based and much more accessible and has more things coming out for it. I don't know, it's just VR is interesting at this point once again as being either flop or not, you know. [00:14:22] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Well, we got Avatar next month and James Cameron will probably prove once again why we continue the need for VR and 3D and all these other crazy things. So. But speaking of crazy things and futuristic things, let's go over to Star Trek first up. And probably our biggest news is that there is a new movie in the works from John Francis Daly and Jonathan Goldstein. They're the guys who've done some Spider man movies and they did Dungeons and Dragons which is freaking awesome. And I mean the other thing, other than the writers is that this is going to be new, right. This is going to be younger cast, it's going to be a reboot. You know, we're not going back to the JJ verse, which is also its own kind of verse. Anyway. So what are you thinking? [00:15:11] Speaker A: I don't know. I think it sounds like put it in those guys hands and let them rock with it. I, you know, that's. That DND movie was a more than a pleasant surprise. So. [00:15:22] Speaker B: Right. [00:15:23] Speaker A: And that's, you know, the high adventure like with the comedy tone like. Yeah. That was also what JJ was going for in a way, you know, and which I like those movies but I didn't also like the fact that they were gonna keep trying to expand them when they just. [00:15:39] Speaker B: Right. [00:15:39] Speaker A: Not done that for years. So breathe a new life. Because Star Trek is, you know, really, really popular right now. Back in the spotlight with a lot of the shows and things like that. So I think it's. I would, I need Star Trek on the big screen again. I would love. I would see something. I don't know if I need, you know, I want something new. [00:15:59] Speaker B: I was just gonna say that's. Yeah, that's it. Like they can because the world's huge. Just like Star Trek or Star Wars. You don't need the Skywalkers to have an in fun story. You know what I mean? So like yeah, you just meet aliens and you do some adventures and who cares? That's it. It doesn't even have to be connected to an Enterprise or the cat, you know, any of it. Just be in that, that World. So we'll see. You could do a Predator Badlands with a Klingon if you wanted. [00:16:35] Speaker A: That'd be great. [00:16:36] Speaker B: I mean you could. [00:16:37] Speaker A: All right, you need to go right there. [00:16:39] Speaker B: You go. I'm gonna go right there. All right. Next is Voyager across the Unknown. This is like the new game gameplay trailer that dropped. I'll be quite honest with you. I think these kinds of Star Trek games are super boring. So I don't know if you got something out of this, but for me like when you're just on the bridge, like this is why I don't play a lot of Star Trek games. They just bore the shit out of me. [00:17:04] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean these games have been around for, for a long time. These type of like just warp to the next star system and explore this planet and do that, do this. Yeah, I, I agree. I just, I've tried them and I just made up not playing them because just when I video game I just, I need like quick action. [00:17:29] Speaker B: That's, that's it. Like you gotta get me like, let's get out of this situation and get to something fun. But you know, for you who like it and you know, I'm not yucking your yum. That is out. We'll leave it, link to the trailer in there. And then finally we got our first full look at the new Star Trek the next generation 3600 piece Enterprise D. That's just wild. So when's this coming out? This is coming out next. [00:18:04] Speaker A: Now. Next week. [00:18:05] Speaker B: Yeah, I think it was like. Yeah, it's already leaked in stores. [00:18:11] Speaker A: Yeah, it's so I, I would imagine the pre order goes up within a week. If not. Yeah, less. Well, not less, but that is less. You get the special shuttle with Ensign Row, you know, if you, if you order it. So there is a benefit to getting it right away. I. The minifigures look great. It's like a lot of attention and detail went into that. However, the, the ship, I was really thinking about how they were going to do this and what the price point would be. The price point is 400 and it's a model. It's not like open up the Enterprise and you know, it's not like the Death Star that they just put out a thousand dollars. Like that was my question. Like what level were they going with this? Would you be able to put characters in the bridge? But it's a display piece. It's a beautiful display piece, but it's like at the same time, it's not really interactive. It's not interactive. Yeah, it's an adult set. You go fly around that mini shuttle and park it into the Enterprise. But whatever. I mean, they. They're also saying, you know, depending on this goes what. What's they could do more. So. Yeah, Bird of Prey or, you know, whatever. So. Exactly. We'll be doing models, you know, but I would love it. Klingon minifigures. Sure. [00:19:31] Speaker B: Yes. Which I cannot wait to see how that goes. So, yeah, I mean, it's. It. Like Chris said, it'll be up for pre order very, very soon and we will definitely keep you posted and yeah, it's exciting. All right. Down to crowd sorcery. Super power Beat down returns. I don't know if you guys remember this, but definitely when DFAT got started, this was hu. Which is where they would take two very popular, usually comic book characters like Deadpool versus Batman and then show us what that is. And then fans got to vote as to how the story ended. And I don't know, it's freaking awesome. And Jason David Frank did a lot of great stuff with him. Rest in peace, Green Power Ranger. I think we're still waiting for that White Tiger movie that they did, but. [00:20:26] Speaker A: I thought it was out, but maybe it's out. It was maybe. Yeah, I think. I don't know. Yeah, that was sad. I think they just made that and then that had happened. So very tragic. But these are fun. These are. The videos they do are fun. It's. I wonder what the quality is going to be now with the advances in, you know, AI and more. [00:20:49] Speaker B: Right. [00:20:50] Speaker A: Yeah, it's a cool. I. And they're, you know, they always have like their Patreon and stuff, so you can get like special bonus stuff if you back them. Like I backed them for a while at five bucks a month or something like that. So. Yeah, check it out if you like what if stuff. [00:21:08] Speaker B: Yeah, that's it. [00:21:10] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:21:10] Speaker B: Some of the things that they have lined up. Black Panther versus Black Ranger, X Men versus Mortal Kombat. RoboCop versus Terminator, which is great. Predator versus Mandalorian, if they get $250,000. So we'll leave the link in there as always. Like I said, the Aaron Shanky and those guys, they. They do really good stuff. And I. And I do appreciate the work that they put into these projects. So. Yeah. So if you're interested, you can check that out. All right, so let's move over. We'll be talking more Legos in. What time is it, Chris? [00:21:49] Speaker A: It's time for the pursuit of plastic. Casey. [00:21:52] Speaker B: Oh, my Gosh. All right, first up, and of no doubt that this was gonna happen, but we've got our Predator Badlands hot toy. It even comes with half of an L. Fanning figure. Man. Yeah, this could be a hard one not to buy. I. I told my wife, I go, do you know how many hot toys is gonna come out of this movie? Can you even. What's NECA's about to do over the next several years? So, yeah, I mean, what do you think? This looks insane. [00:22:26] Speaker A: Yeah. Remember, I was like, I'm not gonna buy hot toys anymore. I may have. I may have pre ordered this. I will be honest with you. I've sold most of my hot toys except for my alien, my. My alien from Aliens, my Chico. And I've always been like, I want to get a Predator hot toy. And I was like. And I. I was like, I need to get one. And I was, I was actually kind of happy I had not just jumped up and bought one because I was like, I'll get one from this. [00:22:57] Speaker B: Or there's been a lot. [00:22:59] Speaker A: Yeah. You know what I mean? Even from the, like those shitty movies where I'm just like, glad I didn't like, just say, oh, yeah, I'm gonna buy this one. But yeah, I bought this one because I love this movie. I think this is a really cool design with, with her on its back. And yeah, you know, it's. And then so I pulled the trigger and it comes out in two years anyway. So. Yeah. Yeah, those payment plans are awesome. That's cool. A lot of cool accessories with that. [00:23:28] Speaker B: With that. [00:23:29] Speaker A: Really, you know, just it. I can't say anything else, but yeah, I know. [00:23:35] Speaker B: It's. It's. It looks so good. So. Yeah. I mean, they even have a statue. Oh, my gosh, of course they do. So you know, hot toys. Yeah, I left the link in there for that. If anyone's interested in also following Chris's footsteps, like I said, we're gonna talk more about Lego Lego Goonies set. This is available now. It's actually in my house right now. [00:24:02] Speaker A: Oh, did you get it? [00:24:04] Speaker B: I didn't, but my sister and her entire family got it for me for Christmas. That was like, everyone contributed for that gift for me. [00:24:13] Speaker A: Did you get the attic bonus set? [00:24:15] Speaker B: She. Yeah, I opened up the box because. Yeah. Yes. So cannot wait. [00:24:20] Speaker A: Good. I was going to do it. I wanted to do it. And then I was like, I have too many LEGO sets in my shelves. Yeah, not even done. I haven't even finished my DND one yet. Which is. I'm A docket for break, but. Yeah, that's a cool set. I'm happy you got it. [00:24:41] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm. I'm. I'm excited. That's it. You know, I love the Goonies. It looks like a crazy set, so I cannot wait for. To build it. For all you Power Rangers fans, the LEGO Power Ranger set is in the works. It's gonn include a Megazord. This was another one of those ideas that, you know, LEGO decided to say, yep, let's do it. So that should be. We'll let you know when it's actually, like, available. Available, but it's in production. [00:25:12] Speaker A: Awesome. I didn't even hear about it. Yeah, that's a. That's a good idea. [00:25:16] Speaker B: Yeah, I saw it the other. Yeah, it's crazy. [00:25:19] Speaker A: Yeah. Because, like, they've been doing the Transformers, which is, you know, it's. It's a cool, like, Right. Easy to do mech robot things. Very cool. [00:25:28] Speaker B: Very, very. All right, so coming up is the Zelda, a new Zelda set. So the Deku Tree. To be quite honest with you, when that got announced, I was like, I don't really care. And it came out in last year. Yeah. It just. For Zelda, it just did not seem like the thing to release is the first one. [00:25:52] Speaker A: Like, I don't know. That's Arguable Castle, dude. No, I. I get you, but at least. Right. But what's that price point gonna get you? Right? I mean, the idea behind the DE was neat because it covered two games as well. [00:26:07] Speaker B: It did. It's. It's a neat idea. I just. I. It wasn't the first one that I wanted, but now Ocarina of Time is coming out featuring the final battle. That, to me, is okay. [00:26:21] Speaker A: Yeah, probably, you know. [00:26:24] Speaker B: Yeah, I. I think you can still do the Castle. Like, what's his name? [00:26:28] Speaker A: Oh, now you can. Yeah. [00:26:29] Speaker B: Yeah. Dungeons and dragons, 400 bucks. Like, okay. [00:26:33] Speaker A: Yeah. I feel like it was like, all right. This was the coolest LEGO idea set that we could make right now. Yeah. At a decent price point. I'm not for it. You did. You did. It was. It was Orcarina of Time and in Breath of the Wild. Right within the. Yeah. Like, you could build either one. [00:26:55] Speaker B: Yeah, I believe so. [00:26:56] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, hey, if you. This just means they're gonna make more sets. It was like when they did the Horizon set and then they did. They put the game out and then they made that mini set, which I also bought. [00:27:06] Speaker B: We'll get so much more, you know. [00:27:08] Speaker A: Yeah. There's Stuff that you can make. [00:27:11] Speaker B: Right. [00:27:12] Speaker A: And a lot of cool stuff from those worlds, like people are gonna buy, especially with the movie coming out. Like, how are you not gonna have Lego sets based on the movie? [00:27:20] Speaker B: Which we'll be talking about soon. Very soon. All right. Funko tells us that it may not last another year. All I can say is saturation of the industry, you know, and we witnessed it many, many years throughout Toy Fair. And it. In it Comic Cons where let. I don't know if it's good or bad, but, like, they would try so many things, like, here's a puzzle, here's a game, here's the Back to the Future had like those weird sets with like Seinfeld. Remember, they're like vinyls that Funko did. They were like 8 inches. Like, they've tried a lot of things throughout the years. Sodas. Yeah. The cereals. Like, they've done cool things. [00:28:05] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:28:05] Speaker B: But it. You know, the collector box, we were part of that for a while. [00:28:09] Speaker A: Yep. [00:28:11] Speaker B: But here we. [00:28:13] Speaker A: I mean, let's. Let's be real too. I mean, this is. This is also based on the tariffs that are going on as well. So let's not even. Let's not even pretend. [00:28:21] Speaker B: Yeah, I gotcha. [00:28:22] Speaker A: Let's not even pretend. Like, like what that is doing. Sorry. To get political for a second is like even necessary. And it's destroying this kind of stuff and it's. It's hurting small shops as well. Like, so this is also part of that. [00:28:43] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:28:44] Speaker A: So. Yeah. Stupid. Honestly, really stupid. [00:28:50] Speaker B: So for all of you who are holding on to Funko Pops, it might be worth some more money in the future too. [00:28:56] Speaker A: Yeah. It is so long ago. Get one from. From the storage today. [00:28:59] Speaker B: So there you go. All right. And finally in comic book book news, we have the death of Gojira. [00:29:10] Speaker A: Everybody dies sometime. [00:29:11] Speaker B: Every single one of them dies. This is gonna be over at idw. And you know, I don't. There's a lot of Death of Wolverine and Superman and. Etc. Then even the COVID is like a Superman. [00:29:27] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:29:28] Speaker B: You know, I don't know. Homage. [00:29:31] Speaker A: No, it's by Dan Jurgens. Like, literally, like, it's. It is doing that cover, which I'll be ordering. [00:29:40] Speaker B: That's very interesting. That's so funny. [00:29:42] Speaker A: I mean, this. This Kisai era. I think that's what it's called. Kisai is. [00:29:49] Speaker B: I've read. [00:29:49] Speaker A: I read the beginning of them and some books are better than others. And this is Tim Sealy, I think. Yeah. It's the main. It's the main series One. Right. Because there's a few different ones in there. Like space Space adventure or the future adventure where it's like the human Kaiju thing, but. Or Kaiju number eight as they call him, I think. So. Yeah, it's. It's a really cool initiative that they're. They're doing right now. So this is what they're building up to within that. So maybe it'll affect all three books. I don't. I don't know. Maybe. [00:30:26] Speaker B: This is crazy, man. I feel like I need to get back into it and utilize that link. [00:30:32] Speaker A: Yeah. Like that's stuff going on. A review or review copies for being D fat for. [00:30:37] Speaker B: That's right. [00:30:38] Speaker A: That's right. The benefits out at the beginning. Like let's would love to have these. And I was like, oh, we need to use it. [00:30:49] Speaker B: The world is a lot different than it was 10 years ago. There is way too many things now. But yeah. Yeah. So moving over to image, the Andrew McLean is to be launching a new action packed series called Death Fight Forever. It's got some martial arts moves, missions, artist. It looks like another one of those 90s homages a little bit more grindy. So if you're a head lopper fan, it's the new comic book from that creator, Andrew McLean. This looks wild. [00:31:28] Speaker A: This cover is double Dragon. Yeah, that's what that is. That's what the art homage on that is. So that's freaking cool. I like that. [00:31:38] Speaker B: Yeah, this is. I'm just looking at like cat. Yeah. This. It looks like double Dragon and it looks like contra sure on the interiors. Yeah. So that's cool. So, yeah, that's. That's coming. We'll just leave the link in there for that one because like, that's straight up. Yep. So while you're thinking about that comic, we're gonna go on a quick commercial break and we'll be right back. Over 20 points of articulation, great sculpting. And look at the paint job on her. [00:32:47] Speaker B: We've been looking all over for this one. Let's get him enough sights and end this hunt now. All right. All Right. [00:32:55] Speaker A: Steady, steady now. [00:32:58] Speaker B: Got em. [00:33:00] Speaker A: It's the pursuit of plastic. [00:33:41] Speaker B: We're back after those luscious commercials and we are jumping into TV streaming news where first we gotta look at Primal season three. Didn't. Didn't know it was coming. But it is and I cannot wait because that show is absolutely effing bonkers and gendy does not stop producing amazing stuff. [00:34:05] Speaker A: Yeah, I, I still haven't watched it. I think I watched a couple episodes of the first season. I need to just do it. So. Yeah, easy watch, right? [00:34:14] Speaker B: It is, it's, it is because they're short, but it, there's a lot of episodes, but it just, it's a show like you just don't expect it. Like it keeps changing and I was just like, what the fuck is this show? It definitely changes from where it starts. So I'm excited to see what season three does to it. So Netflix is just set to purchase a lot of things, but including that is Catan and the settlers that live there. I don't know, like, I guess that's good. Like it's a hugely popular game and you know, Barbie turned into something. So like Dungeons and Dragons even made a pretty cool movie. [00:34:59] Speaker A: Hell yeah. I agree. People are always like, you want to come over play Catan? [00:35:03] Speaker B: I'm like, yeah, I like Catan. [00:35:07] Speaker A: I have never done it, so. [00:35:09] Speaker B: Oh, it's fun. [00:35:10] Speaker A: I should do that, you know. [00:35:11] Speaker B: Yeah, it's an our age, I guess, millennial sort of thing to do. Cool. Yeah, it's a fun game. And then also over at Netflix, Stranger Things, we are going to be getting an animated series. It's going to be Stranger things, tales from 85. That's coming in 2026. This is just a no brainer. This is just keep going. [00:35:37] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. When you build up universe four, you know, it's like. [00:35:41] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:35:43] Speaker A: I, yeah, the season five drop. So behind that thing. [00:35:47] Speaker B: No, so season five is I think next week. Christmas. [00:35:52] Speaker A: Oh, it's, it's a few weeks, so. Okay, cool. [00:35:56] Speaker B: Now you're gonna make me look strange. [00:35:59] Speaker A: Yeah. Just because I. I've been. My Netflix hasn't been on, like. [00:36:02] Speaker B: No, you're right. November 26th. [00:36:05] Speaker A: Oh, my God. It's like. [00:36:07] Speaker B: Yeah. Like the day after Black Friday. [00:36:10] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, it's Black Friday. [00:36:11] Speaker B: It's four days. [00:36:12] Speaker A: All right. [00:36:12] Speaker B: At the time of this record is Black Friday. And then Christmas and then, like, New Year's. [00:36:16] Speaker A: So two parts, Three parts. [00:36:19] Speaker B: Three parts. And they're all like, three movies. Hour and a half. [00:36:22] Speaker A: That's what it is. Okay. That's right. All right, all right. Get my 20. $30,000 per month. [00:36:31] Speaker B: No problem. So four episodes, 26. Another four episodes. 25th. Or. No, three episodes, 25th. And the last one is the 31st. [00:36:45] Speaker A: The New Year Y2K. [00:36:48] Speaker B: New Year's Eve. [00:36:49] Speaker A: Oh, my God. [00:36:50] Speaker B: My gosh. All right. So anyway, animated, you know, like you said, keep. Keep staying in that world. Speaking of anime things, speaking of worlds I want to be a part of. Robert Kirkman is bringing the Energon universe. Two TV and an epic animated series. If you've. I mean, you've heard us talk about it, we freaking love it. So, I mean, he. Joe Henderson, who was the showrunner on Lucifer, is going to be the showrunner. I don't even know what to tell you. This is what we've been waiting for since Transformers. [00:37:29] Speaker A: I'm just joking. I'm just waving my hand like a. [00:37:33] Speaker B: I get it. [00:37:35] Speaker A: Yeah. This. These are the best comics you're not reading if you're not reading them, because it is an epic crossover of mag. Like, magnitude amounts. So also, last free comic book day, they introduced Mad Tracker into the world from Mask. And now coming soon in the Energon universe comic series. [00:37:58] Speaker B: Okay. [00:37:59] Speaker A: More Mask. So there's a big crossover because Duke is finally going to meet Optimus Prime. So big stuff is still coming as they expand these books. [00:38:09] Speaker B: Yeah, he hasn't met Optimus Prime. [00:38:12] Speaker A: No, that's what. That's the best part. Right? These have been out, and they haven't even crossed. Crossed over yet. Like the two main characters. And so, like, there's this big, big crossover event coming up. [00:38:25] Speaker B: Yeah, Mask man. [00:38:27] Speaker A: Like, yeah, I just made. Totally. Just. Just came in at big bad toy store. [00:38:33] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:38:36] Speaker A: So, you know, Mask is back in, and Energon Universe is going to be an animated show, which is blowing my mind. [00:38:43] Speaker B: Yep. This is. Yeah. Some of the best exciting news. So that's coming out. This is crazy news. V for Vendetta. It's got a TV series in the works and at hbo. I mean, I sure. James Gunn and Pete Saffron from DC Studios are going to be producing it. Like. [00:39:06] Speaker A: Or. I don't know. [00:39:07] Speaker B: That's it. [00:39:08] Speaker A: Do you remember the Watchmen TV show that was better than one of the Watchmen things. Like, better than most TV shows I've ever watched. [00:39:15] Speaker B: Better than most TV show. I mean, I love Watchmen still. I really do. [00:39:19] Speaker A: What, the show or the movie? [00:39:22] Speaker B: I think that movie. [00:39:23] Speaker A: Oh, I love that movie. Yeah, I love that movie. I'm not saying anything, but as far. [00:39:27] Speaker B: As, like, a. Yeah, the show is great. [00:39:30] Speaker A: The show is shockingly good. Like, way better than I thought it was going to be. So. [00:39:33] Speaker B: Absolutely. [00:39:34] Speaker A: There's plenty of room in these to make. Like, because. Oh, v. Vendetta show. Like, what is this gonna be? It could be anything within that world. [00:39:42] Speaker B: Well, we hit. Yeah. I mean. Yeah. I don't know how they'll do it. I don't know how to do it. [00:39:47] Speaker A: And it's appropriate for the times. Oh, my God. It's really. That's. [00:39:51] Speaker B: That's it. I know. That's why they're doing it. One of the best shows on television in a long time. Alien, Earth and Art. [00:40:00] Speaker A: Oh, my God. [00:40:02] Speaker B: Has been renewed. Noah Hawley, he's got another overall deal now, Effects to keep doing stuff and. Which makes sense. I mean, he's done Fargo for them. He's done. What was the other one that he. [00:40:16] Speaker A: Did with the X Men? [00:40:18] Speaker B: Legion. Yeah, Legion. Like, yeah, he's been doing stuff for them for years. So. Great. Get into production immediately. I've read so much bad shit about this. Like, so many bad reviews about this show. I just don't care about any of them. [00:40:32] Speaker A: This is why I don't even read. This is why I don't read. Because people are morons who think they. They know things and they write. You know, like, I'm sorry if you didn't like this show and you're. You think you're an alien fan. You're not an alien fan. So you better go find a new franchise to enjoy that when the rest of us are going to enjoy it. Because it's like saying, oh, Petter. Badlands wasn't good. Said no one. [00:40:58] Speaker B: So. [00:40:59] Speaker A: Except the. Who are writing that. You know, the same kind of people online that write this kind of stuff so you can have an opinion. [00:41:05] Speaker B: I did not hear. I did not hear that one. [00:41:08] Speaker A: Yeah, but people like, oh, is it Disney Fight? It's. This isn't Predator. [00:41:12] Speaker B: Because it's not. I guess I didn't. You know, that movie is still so extremely violent. That I didn't even think about it one bit. That they didn't kill a human. Like, I don't care. I don't, you know, is that what you need? Like, you can show him deep. No human esque thing. I don't. I don't care what the thing is. Enough story. [00:41:37] Speaker A: It's so stupid to me because it's just like, do you. Do you want to expand the mythos or do you want to just do the Predator again? Which was. I just watched that again the other night and hated myself a third time for watching that movie. So you want to just put it on repeat and just let them fight humans and write stupid scripts for it? Or do you want to expand the universe? Because that's what this did. This is what Alien Earth did. I'm sorry, but Alien Earth is one of my favorite shows of the year, if not the last couple years. So you can have an opinion, but it's wrong. [00:42:11] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:42:11] Speaker A: And you should just stop writing. [00:42:17] Speaker B: So. Yeah, so that's. That's, you know, that is a thing. It is coming and we'll see it. For all you Death Stranding fans, Hideo Kojima is making an animated series for Disney plus Death Stranding isolations will come out in 2027. Again, another person who created a whole world, now he's creating his whole, like, world within it. And, you know, I respect it completely. You know what I mean? Like, same thing with people were giving to James Cameron about Avatar. And it's like, imagine coming up with an idea from your own mind and then being able to stay in that world forever. Who with zero oversight, we'd be writing Pursuit of Plastic for the rest of our lives and not think twice about it. Same thing with these Duffer brothers. They can do other things they don't have to. You know, it's just like if you get one of those things, like, sure, just keep it going. [00:43:19] Speaker A: I mean, and eventually you don't have to write it anyways because other people are writing it. [00:43:23] Speaker B: Yeah, right. Yeah. [00:43:25] Speaker A: You just get the money off expanding it and building on your ideas, you know? So, yeah, I. Death Stranding is still a game I want to play. [00:43:33] Speaker B: Me too. I haven't done it yet. [00:43:35] Speaker A: And I want to because. [00:43:37] Speaker B: And I own it. I just. [00:43:39] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, right. Exactly. That's the worst part. [00:43:45] Speaker B: We got our first look and the release date of Legacy of Monsters, which is coming out. Where is this coming out? I literally lost the date. It's coming out next year. I know that much, but February. February, okay. Thank you for Finding that. But Kong is coming as well as Hedorah. [00:44:16] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:44:18] Speaker B: I don't. I need to watch this show. We have an Apple tv. We have a subscription. Maybe this will be the next show we have is like, we bought new phones and they gave us like six months for free, so. Yeah, I've never seen it. Dude. [00:44:30] Speaker A: Huh? [00:44:31] Speaker B: Listen, you didn't watch Blue Light Samurai? Like, I don't even have to talk to you. [00:44:34] Speaker A: No, no, it's fine. But I'm just. I'm surprised that the. You know, it is tough with, like, the multiple streaming services. [00:44:42] Speaker B: I mean, there's so many streaming services. [00:44:45] Speaker A: I turned on Apple, you know, I turned this on to watch this show. [00:44:48] Speaker B: Yes. [00:44:49] Speaker A: It's where I, like, I fell in love with my third wife, the girl from Shogun. I can't remember her name. So I'm a really bad husband. But, yeah, I think there's. There's things about this show, if you like the human aspect of that world, you'll like it. There's not. The complaint was there's not enough Kaiju in the show. [00:45:13] Speaker B: I was gonna say. I don't like that. That's the thing I don't like about those Godzilla movies. The first two. [00:45:19] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:45:19] Speaker B: I just don't care. [00:45:21] Speaker A: Yeah. But it's. [00:45:22] Speaker B: Want to see him. [00:45:23] Speaker A: This. The human stories. Because it's already such a well established world and the actors. I mean, the. The Russells in this. [00:45:32] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:45:33] Speaker A: Like, I see in this show. [00:45:34] Speaker B: I don't care about that. I'll care about. I like all of this stuff from Kong. You know, when we saw John Goodman and. You know what I mean, all that. [00:45:44] Speaker A: Like, that builds on that, like. [00:45:46] Speaker B: Exactly. Character, too. Right? Like. [00:45:50] Speaker A: No, he's not. No, it's. It's the legacy of how Monarch is built up through John Goodman's character and. And, well, Kurt Russell. [00:46:01] Speaker B: Right. That character becomes. Actually, that's the character who's played by the dad from Game of Thrones. And he shows up in Godzilla 2 just years later. I remember that now. Oh, hold on. [00:46:12] Speaker A: Special guest star. [00:46:16] Speaker B: Okay. All right. Godzilla. My child showed up. We're moving on. Okay. She heard it. She heard the call. Fallout Season two. We got our trailer that is coming out also very, very soon on my birthday. Oh, it is your birthday. You're right. [00:46:34] Speaker A: Oh, God. Yeah. It's the greatest birthday present since the last Star wars movie came out a decade ago. [00:46:40] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:46:41] Speaker A: Anyways, I was not gonna watch this trailer, and then I watched this trailer and I was just like, oh, my God, I shouldn't have watched this trailer. But yeah, that's the. This is the. This is the new Vegas sequel people went and waiting for. And I can't wait because this is what I need to do, actually. I need to. I need to rewatch the first season before this comes out since I. That's spent the money on the 4K launch it. Try to get my wife into it. So I think she'd like it. [00:47:11] Speaker B: Yeah, Yeah, I think. I think she'd enjoy. It's hard. Not. I. I don't know anyone who's seen that show doesn't like it. It's just a really, really smart show, so. And it's also. I'm just happy that TV shows, from what I'm understanding is they're trying to get back to that yearly schedule that they used to do. You know what I mean? Because people are really getting sick of, like, because there's so much that if you're taking three years in between seasons, like, some shows I just don't go back to because I'm like, I don't really remember what happened, and now I'm on to this thing, so I just don't care. [00:47:47] Speaker A: Well, that's the other. And the other thing is, like, when you have eight episodes, it's so. It's just a big movie, and it's such a small chunk of time that it's like, you don't. It is like watching, like, if you're gonna wait three years, they're not even waiting three years to make movies like that for sequels like Superman's. Like, the attention span of people is getting lower. I work with kids. Yeah, I know this. This is a fact. And adults as well. So I. The Daredevil is coming out every year, you know, so it's like, they need to do this, like, get the production rolling. Get it? That's what I was kind of like, why was Alien Earth not renewed right away? Like, this is a great show. What were you waiting for? [00:48:27] Speaker B: There's a lot of chatter online, though. [00:48:29] Speaker A: The chatter is. Though it's like. Is like chatter online. If you. If you keep listening to chatter online, you have things fail if it doesn't do well comparatively. Like, the acolyte didn't do well financially for the viewership versus what it costs to make the show. That's entirely different thing. Of course, you stop listening to these morons online if it's. If you got a generally good feel about a show, make the second season, get it going. So it's not three years later. Right. Like, I didn't realize how Long it was for Peacemaker 2 to come out. You know what I mean? But there was different things that happened within that was. [00:49:05] Speaker B: You had strike, there was Covid. Like there was a lot of things going. [00:49:08] Speaker A: The change over the dcu. Yeah, a lot of other stuff. [00:49:11] Speaker B: That one I got got. But like. [00:49:13] Speaker A: So there's things Wednesday. [00:49:17] Speaker B: You gotta take three years for that. [00:49:19] Speaker A: Yeah. Now she's like. Now she looks way stranger things like. [00:49:23] Speaker B: Which again they went through the same thing. They had to go through all these things. So anywh who we are gonna talk about one last thing in TV which is Stargate is back. It is getting revived by Martin Giro who's gonna be writer, producer, producer on other entries in the franchise. He's going to be the showrunner. It's coming to Prime. Bring it. [00:49:47] Speaker A: You know, that's the right place to put it. I mean like Amazon wants to put money into their shows. Like they have unlimited money. So Stargate would needs that versus like taking a chance on a small, like less budgeted production. Stargate is an awesome world. It has spawned three, four, maybe, I don't know, four TV shows from that movie. And it was just like this huge shared universe. Like it's a great concept and I don't know why it's taken so long. [00:50:17] Speaker B: Right. So yeah, we'll see what this means. See, because when they say revive, which that could mean a lot of things. That could be Jason Momoa starring in this show. You know what I mean? Like it could mean some stuff. [00:50:33] Speaker A: Oh yeah. That's the other thing. Like, you know. [00:50:38] Speaker B: Yeah. Right. So it's just, it's. It's gonna be curious. So excited for that. Let's jump over to movies first. Just a little thing here. Our friends over at Fright Rags put out this. We're gonna leave the trailer in this fake kind of new slasher movie. You know, they found the footage from the 80s and released it anyways called Pyromaniac. It's a well done little trailer. But around that they've also released a vinyl with the music and so we'll leave a link in there for that too. But really cool homage to the VHS and slasher horror stuff from the late 70s and 80s. And I wanted to give a little shout out to that. [00:51:23] Speaker A: It looks great actually. [00:51:25] Speaker B: Yeah, it's funny. It's just fun. All right, moving on. Project Genesis, which is this Thai sci fi time travel flick. Speaking of Kaijus, there's Kaiju throughout it. And I mean the trailer, which I'll put a link in here, is Just a real mash. So much sci fi and so much Godzilla and it looks sweet. [00:51:50] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, yeah, I just go watch the trailer. I. This is the kind of stuff from like should I put this in the show notes or not? And then it's absolutely. Because it's so out there. And it also kind of shows like, like I said earlier, like where we're at as far as like how, how easily it's getting like to make. With the advances, there's technology to make movies. So it's good. I can't wait. [00:52:18] Speaker B: I love it. Love it. So like I said, I'll leave a link in there. The Bells. So VHS beyond like that series of like those little short again VHS movies, Virat Pal will be taking his little short the Bells, which went viral on YouTube. It's going to be turned into a full length feature and film adaptation. You know, these sorts of things I think are always really cool. That's what happened with Lights out, which was a cool little horror movie. And then that guy went on to do Shazam and he just did Until Dark this year, which I've. I have not seen it, but I've heard it's actually pretty decent. So David S. Sandberg is that one. So. Yeah, you know, you never know when these things on YouTube. Same thing. Fetty Alvarez. That's how he got found for Evil Dead. It was like get found on YouTube. So cool. Yeah. Little horror movie. All right. James Tinian, Something is Killing the Children is getting turned into a cartoon and also a movie. So I, I love Tinian. I think he's one of the best writers out there right now. Yeah, he also. All of his stuff make sense. Like it might be weird and out there, but like he doesn't. Scott Snyder tends to just drop off sometimes. And Tinian, it's like, okay, that's wrapped up. Okay. And he writes his MO Mostly his own stuff. I mean he does write other people's things, but like when he writes his own stuff, like something that's killing children, he's freaking awesome. [00:54:03] Speaker A: I think it. Does it have a lot to do with like having an endpoint. Right. Like you have a story, it's 12 parts in a comic, it's done, then it gets a sequel, you know, or whatever. Because I felt like a lot of the Scott Snyder stuff was like built into like an ongoing and then they would just, it would just stop like you said. So yeah, I, I look forward to this. I wonder if it'll just be different things like what, what this looks like. [00:54:33] Speaker B: The movie Yeah, I don't know. Right. And is the cartoon the same thing or is it a different, you know, because that world has kept getting bigger as well. So that's another thing we're like. I don't know. I don't know what they're. You know, where they plan on taking it. So it's pretty cool. Scream is back. Scream 7 is coming out. Nev. Campbell is back. Sydney. There's a trailer for that that just dropped. And so, yeah, you know, we're getting it early 2026, which is where horror seems to thrive and in like February in the cold, I guess. But yeah, that's. That's a thing that is coming out another screen. [00:55:18] Speaker A: I mean, that's. There was. Yeah, it's too bad they can't wrap up that storyline. But. But we'll be getting. We'll be getting nostalgia to replace that. So. [00:55:30] Speaker B: Yeah, I. I love the Scream franchise. I just think like, it's at seven, you gotta get away from Sydney. You know what I mean? Like, it's the same. [00:55:44] Speaker A: Weren't they. They were away until the politics thing came out. You know what I mean? So it's like. Yeah, that ruined that. Ruined the. That whole thing. So it's like. Hello, Hello. The guest star's back again. [00:56:02] Speaker B: Yeah, she's gone. Yeah, I. It's just. It's just been so long, you know what I mean? Like seven movies in, like. [00:56:10] Speaker A: I get it, I get it. But we. I don't know, it pisses me off, honestly. I really wanted this. It's okay. This is what editing is for. Hi, Kira. [00:56:25] Speaker B: She's gone. She's gone. Okay. [00:56:27] Speaker A: All right. [00:56:28] Speaker B: Sorry, guys. [00:56:28] Speaker A: Get out, kid. [00:56:29] Speaker B: Kid. Jumping in there constantly. All right, so another piece of news that just came out. Spielberg and John Williams are back again. This is going to be for some untitled UFO movie that's supposed to be coming out next year. We have nothing other than we know Emily Blunt and come further in it, and David Cope, who is just one of the best writers out there, is writing it. [00:56:57] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, it's. It's a nothing news blurp, but it is news blurpy worthy because it's, you know, Spielberg and Williams and it's just like when you put those names together, you know, that could be the headline of a show without. Without your plot. Like, I'm ready for that. I don't know what it is. [00:57:20] Speaker B: And at 90,000 years old, John Williams just keeps going. [00:57:25] Speaker A: Yes, a guy who doesn't like movie soundtracks will continue. [00:57:29] Speaker B: I love that guy. Love that guy. All right. So the Conjuring World is continuing to go on. We were getting a prequel movie. And then I also. We're getting. I know. We're getting a TV show. The last rights, which I saw, dropped on hbo, which I cannot wait to watch. Made a ton of movie, a ton of money, or maybe it's coming out soon, but. Yeah. It's just. It's insane to me. So why they're doing a prequel doesn't make any sense. It's all the money. They just keep breaking it in. [00:58:03] Speaker A: Yeah, I remember. I mean, it was like, oh, Chris, you gotta watch. You gotta watch the Conjuring. You gotta watch the Conjuring. It's like, okay. And then it was like, oh, the Conjuring 2 is even better. So it's. It. You know, those movies are great and surprisingly so. And they're. And they terrified me a little bit here and there, so. And I like. I like those characters, and I like the idea behind it, and I'm really excited that it's not going away. [00:58:31] Speaker B: So that's it. Yeah, exactly. So that world will continue to get bigger as well. All right. Going back to Kaiju, I feel like it's like a constant Godzilla gets thrown into the show in every little segment. So Godzilla -0 is set to come out. The 2023 sequel. Yeah. You know, we don't know anything about it. We don't know what the plot is. We just know that minus one was amazing. So I can't imagine this will be anything less than that. [00:59:06] Speaker A: Yeah, exactly. I just. Just waiting. I was waiting for that to be announced officially. And that's it. I mean, just if you. You have two Godzilla universes going on in. In the. In the big screen, and it's just like. [00:59:32] Speaker B: And they're both making money. [00:59:33] Speaker A: Such a wonderful time to live in, Casey. [00:59:38] Speaker B: It's kind of. It's kind of insane. And I'm happy to be there as well as I'm happy to read this news on Brendan Frazier, Rachel Weiss. They are coming back for the next Mummy film. Why? You know, I don't know, but this will be the third one that they do together. And Brendan Fraser said he'd been waiting for this call for 20 years. Let's go. [01:00:05] Speaker A: I know why. I know why. Because nobody like that Tom Cruise movie besides us, unfortunately. [01:00:14] Speaker B: I. I don't know if I love it, but I don't. [01:00:17] Speaker A: They love it. [01:00:18] Speaker B: Yeah. I thought it was really fun. Yeah. [01:00:20] Speaker A: But those mommy movies are great. I'm sorry. But those. Those are. I don't know what we're just like late high school when those came out. Yeah, just high adventure. Like, it's. God, I mean, Brendan Fraser is such a great actor. And I think that's where actually I fell in love with my second wife, Rachel Weiss. [01:00:47] Speaker B: All of his wives are brought onto the show today. [01:00:50] Speaker A: You would think I live in Utah, but I actually just. [01:00:52] Speaker B: Yeah, we don't get to talk about Rachel Weiss that often. So this is. [01:00:56] Speaker A: We don't. I mean, the last time we saw her was, you know, Black Widow movie and probably something artsy. And then her voice. I think she did the voice in the Marvel Zombies, so. [01:01:07] Speaker B: Yeah, I think you're right, too. That's true. That's true. [01:01:09] Speaker A: She's a gift. [01:01:11] Speaker B: She is a gift. So that will be coming out sooner than later, I guess. We don't know, but it's coming. Also getting revived after a long, long time is Gremlins 3. Steven Spielberg produced. Chris Columbus directing. I don't know if he's writing. He wrote the first one. But, I mean, he has been talking about. I've been listening to that guy talk on podcast forever about Gremlins 3. And so the fact that it's finally getting, you know, back on the market, I. I cannot wait. [01:01:46] Speaker A: Yeah, absolutely. I mean, it's just like, what took you so long? We got the. We got the show. Got two seasons, right? That little animated show. [01:01:54] Speaker B: Yeah, that's cute. [01:01:55] Speaker A: Why? Yeah, yeah, I wanted to. I watched some of that. [01:01:58] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:01:59] Speaker A: Not enough, but. Yeah, I just. This is something that has always been in the. The rumor mill for. Since they tried to take over Manhattan like the Muppets, you know. [01:02:13] Speaker B: This is true. This is true. So, yeah, excited. And we will keep you posted about more Gremlins. The Michael teaser dropped. This is the Anton Fuqua biopic starring Michael Jackson's nephew, who. Jafar Jackson. Hauntingly looks like him. Did you watch this trailer? [01:02:34] Speaker A: I. I did, because this is like the most watched trailer of all time. Something like that. Like, it was setting records to. How many people have watched this trailer? [01:02:45] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:02:46] Speaker A: That's great. [01:02:50] Speaker B: Yeah, I. I just. Yeah. 116 million views in 24 hours, making it the most watched trailer. Okay. For a music biopic ever. [01:03:03] Speaker A: So. And there's been some great music biopics, Casey. [01:03:07] Speaker B: There has. [01:03:09] Speaker A: But there's none greater than Michael Jackson. [01:03:12] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, like, that's. That's just it. It's King of Pop. He has yet to lose that title. And that trailer was so freaking good. Whoever cut that trailer deserves whatever people get awards for cutting trailers get because it was very well made. And I was like. And my wife was like, holy. Like, yeah, we have to see this. So good. So, yeah, that comes out next year, and it looks freaking great. All right. More Jurassic World's coming out. We. You know, that doesn't surprise me, but it will be a sequel to Rebirth, So Gareth Edwards is supposed to come back as well as the cast, including, you know, ScarJo made a ton of money. Almost made a billion bucks, you know, like. Yeah, it's the first one that didn't in a while, I'll say that. [01:04:03] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I was happy that you were like, oh, you need to go see this in theater. And I did. And I liked it a lot. And it's. It was pleasantly refreshing. After not liking the Jurassic World movies that much, you know, they were right. But this is like return to form. Yeah, it was very much like Jurassic Park 3 to me, you know, just. Yep, that. Yeah, it's cool. It was an adventure and it was good actors in it and cool new dinosaurs. Like, yes. It's a pretty simple formula, so please, if you can make it as entertaining as this one, do it up. And I like Gareth Edwards. He is. He knows how to do those kind of movies. [01:04:45] Speaker B: That's it. He's a capable director, and it was good because it was fun. Yeah, yeah. Cut. The family storyline. That was a Spielberg edition, you know, this family that just happens to need to be saved. I was like, okay, whatever. [01:05:02] Speaker A: But you need that heart. [01:05:05] Speaker B: You need a heart. It was a good. It was a good movie, though. All right. Speaking of movies that are good, who Framed Roger Rabbit? It's. Its rights have gone from Disney, which means. Which I have. What I understand is that the creator does not like Disney and is very happy because now more things can be done with his characters, which Disney has not done. So this is. Yeah, I guess there's not much news other than I would imagine there's going to be more Roger Rabbit sooner than later that either Disney will be like, nope, we want to get the rights back and we'll pay him a bunch of money to do more or, okay, go do what you want and then we'll see something from another studio. [01:05:53] Speaker A: Yeah. As a child, it's very confusing to see, like, Disney and WB crossover like that and try to understand, like, what goes in behind the scenes, you know, and, like, and then all of a sudden you. That Disney own, like, Roger Rabbit. So it was just. There's such a strange adult kids movie and it has such, like, a spot, like, in my, like, growing up and watching movies that it was such a neat idea and I've. I've always wondered why there hasn't been more. So looking forward to it. [01:06:31] Speaker B: Yeah, no, same. I absolutely. I'm. I'm all about more Roger Rabbit and get it out there. Super Mario Galaxy dropped its first trailer. I cried, you know, I cried at the first movie. I just. These guys, this is literally like your childhood just come to life. They do a really good job. Cannot wait. [01:06:50] Speaker A: Yeah. Again, this is, this is an example of how Internet chatter is wrong. You can have your opinions on stuff, but they changed some stuff in. In the Mario Mythos, who cares? And they made a good movie and it's fun and the animation is amazing and it's a sequel. So yeah, that's it. It's can't wait. I mean it's. And it's. It's based on, you know, the Super Mario Galaxy games are great and expanding into that. You know. This trailer was so awesome. Awesome. [01:07:24] Speaker B: It's just cute. Cute trailer. Cannot wait. This is. So we got our first look, first couple pictures at the Legend of Zelda. I don't, I haven't fully been able to wrap my head around the fact that this is even existing. And then what is it going to look like? Like where are they taking the inspiration from with a. What is it? 40 year old franchise? Like. [01:07:56] Speaker A: Yes, I don't know. No, I hear exactly what you're saying. And this is the point about the Legend of Zelda. And when you tell the Legend of Zelda, it's always different. So do not base it on Breath of the Wild. Do not base it on Ocarina Time. Go and tell a story that is Zelda and yeah. That we're not like, oh well, this wasn't adapted properly. Oh, this wasn't adapted properly. Properly. I like you. When these stills came out, I'm like, oh my God, that's right. This movie's coming up. And so I'm going to wait, I'm going to wait and see how they do it because you know, I just, I just play that Zelda game with where you play as Zelda and it's the back to the normal Zelda type gameplay and stuff like that. It was awesome because it's a different story in that world using the same elements and that everybody knows. So I hope they take the chance and do that. Something brand new. [01:08:52] Speaker B: So same same. [01:08:54] Speaker A: That's not brand new, right? [01:08:57] Speaker B: Exactly. And then finally in movie news, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Just a couple pieces of one. The last Ronin, the R Rated movie is on hold because Paramount, I guess to your point, wants to make a family friendly live action movie instead. Currently with Neil H. Moritz, who produces the Sonic films. [01:09:27] Speaker A: Make both. Are you like, shut up. Like that's my thing. Come on. I mean it. [01:09:34] Speaker B: There's no reason that it can't exist for both. There's no reason. This is stupid. [01:09:40] Speaker A: It's great. Even do it and you could put it Badlands. [01:09:45] Speaker B: That's what I mean. They just have to kill robotic foot soldiers and. Yes, that's it. [01:09:52] Speaker A: And three of the turtles have to die. Like. [01:09:56] Speaker B: And then they got to go through time violently. [01:10:02] Speaker A: Oh God. Yeah, I. I don't know what to say. Besides, I'm happy with more tmnt. Yeah, but like you are. The last running was like one of the most popular things for TMT to come out in the last 20 years. Right? Amongst fans who say like I like the animated movie. But I was like, you know, it's like this new generation of teenage turtles fans that we're building. It's fine. That's what you do with the franchise. But yeah, we. Is Paramount not listening to the fans? Paramount sucks. [01:10:40] Speaker B: Yeah. Stay tuned for more. Listen. More turtles. Like you said is more turtles. I'll watch a PG Turtles movie all day. I don't care. The last one I did watch was fantastic, so it's fine. I just. I don't know why you wouldn't do both. [01:10:59] Speaker A: Don't say live action if you're not bringing in Jim Henson Studios and putting them in costumes either. [01:11:04] Speaker B: So. Well, we. [01:11:04] Speaker A: We. Don't disappoint me. Don't disappoint me. [01:11:06] Speaker B: Yeah, right. [01:11:07] Speaker A: You suck. [01:11:08] Speaker B: I agree. Moving on to gaming news. Final Fantasy disease. Okay, well, it's coming out. We talk. [01:11:22] Speaker A: I'll talk about it. [01:11:23] Speaker B: Yeah, go ahead, Chris. [01:11:24] Speaker A: I want to talk about it because I. I know we talked about it already. I put this in because there was an open beta for the. It doesn't come up till next year the game. But I got accepted in the beta and I played the game for the. The week that it was out because I really like. I'm. You know, I'm kind of a Final Fantasy fan just a bit. Just a little bit. And this concept was really cool idea bringing it into like modern day Tokyo and giving the characters like modern costumes. And the dissidia world took a little bit of a dive with the. The one that was like a three on three arena battle game. It was okay, but it wasn't like the old ones on PSP which were like like one. One on one fighting games. You go through the story modes and all this stuff. So yep, this is a gacha game. It's a cool gacha game with very awesome graphics. Even if I have a phone from 2021, it Run. It ran really well. The combat's great. The getting the weapons. Like the weapons are what are actually like what you get. The role. Like the draws for the character selection is really cool and I had a really fun time playing it because it's. The controls are really responsive and I'm actually really excited for it to come out next year now. So. [01:12:51] Speaker B: Sweet. Good. [01:12:52] Speaker A: Yeah. I try to play like Ever Crisis, which I had a really hard time with. Like that was not. I'm sorry. Ever Crisis. Did the weapons. This does like the powers. So like you can. You get the different magics and different powers like that. And then you can assign them or like upgrade them so they get stronger. That's what that is. And okay. And stuff like that. So I liked it way more than Ever Crisis. It just. It was. It's a better. It's a better game as far as like under, like not as complicated and to get into it the gameplay wise. So. [01:13:28] Speaker B: Heck yeah, dude. [01:13:29] Speaker A: Very cool. [01:13:29] Speaker B: That's what it's about. That's it. Speaking of new mashups. Mashup Mashups. I don't know what the word is, but another 90s throwback. We've got Terminator 2D. No. Fate. This is just like the classic, I guess Genesis games really. Or Super Nintendo games. You know. I don't know what to tell you other than it looks awesome. I'm gonna leave a link in here and it comes out next week. [01:14:00] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I love that we're getting games like. [01:14:04] Speaker B: Like, I know. [01:14:05] Speaker A: I love these games. When I was a kid, right. And they were so much fun to play. And now with the new technology you just make them so much better with backgrounds and the animations you can do. And it's just. Why make a AAA game that you're gonna spend all this money on that's gonna. [01:14:23] Speaker B: Right. [01:14:24] Speaker A: Fail when you can make a lot of money on this kind of game and make everybody. I don't know. I don't know. [01:14:29] Speaker B: Take my money. [01:14:31] Speaker A: Yeah, exactly. That's what I do. [01:14:35] Speaker B: Fallout 4 or New Vegas has a bundle which we'll leave a link into the Bethesda site. But basically you'll be getting the ultimate edition of New Vegas as well as a pretty cool Victor statue and a bunch of other sweet swag that comes along with its 15th anniversary edition. Did you order this? [01:14:57] Speaker A: No, I already own it. This is just waiting to complain about it for a second. [01:15:01] Speaker B: Okay. Okay. [01:15:03] Speaker A: Where's the Fallout 3 remaster? Where's the new Vegas remaster? Thanks for giving us the same Fallout 4 game. The same new Vegas game that's been out for. Thanks for the 10 year anniversary. [01:15:15] Speaker B: 15 years. [01:15:15] Speaker A: Yeah, whatever the. Whatever these years are. Whatever this universe Bethesda. Like, I'm sorry, where's. Where's these remasters that you've been talking about? Like, I don't. I don't need the same game with. With extra stuff from my shelf. I can just go buy the McFarlane ghoul toy if I want something from my shelf. But I'm sorry. Stop wasting money and give us the remasters now. [01:15:42] Speaker B: I 100 agree. Yeah. [01:15:45] Speaker A: This is a money grab. This is a money grab. [01:15:48] Speaker B: 100 coming back. Project talent. This. We got the trailer from this a few weeks ago. But we want to talk about it because it just looks absolutely insane. It's a single player open world action. You know it. I don't know what to tell you. It just looks bonkers. Looks like Monster Hunter. Looks like Shadows of Colossus mixed with like the yokai. [01:16:21] Speaker A: This is the one where it was like. I was like, no, this was not announced a couple years ago. Right. And I was like, watch. Watch what? The graphics are like, yeah, like I've. Yeah, it's like watching a cart. Like a movie, anime. Like, it's intense and I don't. This is multiplayer. I don't know. [01:16:40] Speaker B: I don't know. No, it's single player. [01:16:42] Speaker A: Okay, so it's like single player. You fight with the four or whatever. Like your party or whatever. [01:16:47] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. But it looks like that. Yeah, you know it looks like that. You said it is that show. Is it boss level? It's not boss level. That's the movie. But the show where they do all of those little. [01:17:00] Speaker A: Oh yeah. [01:17:01] Speaker B: Like 10 minute. Did you watch those? [01:17:03] Speaker A: The Anthology? Yeah, I did. [01:17:05] Speaker B: Okay. Like Mega man and Pac man was so sweet. Like. So. Yeah. Okay, cool. Okay. Yeah. This, this. It does look crazy. The graphics just look wild. So we'll leave a link in there for that. Godzilla. This is. Yeah. Not a video game, but he is being mentioned again. Godzilla is coming upon a role playing game which is kind of crazy. It doesn't use dice. Instead it uses a 52 card deck, which I think is pretty cool. So that's coming out soon as well. You just gotta look at it last week. So I think next year so funny. [01:17:45] Speaker A: It's like Godzilla is like in everything as we said. Just, it's amazing. Like I just, it kind of blows my mind. So I don't know. Yeah. So much so good. [01:18:01] Speaker B: So much so awesome. [01:18:03] Speaker A: This is why weep. [01:18:05] Speaker B: Yeah, this is it. Warhammer is getting a little bit of love as well. And that's going to be via Warhammer survivors. As it mashes up with vampire survivors again. These people perfected whatever this little special sauce is to bring in these franchise franchises into this world. And it's smart, it's fun and just keeps it going, keeps expanding. I love it. [01:18:35] Speaker A: Is this its own game? Like this isn't just the, like with the like the Castlevania thing for vampires. I think this is its own game by Panicle. Pretty sure. Like I think that. And which is even better, honestly. They're just. [01:18:53] Speaker B: Yeah, it's just. Yeah, it's just its own Warhammer thing. Yep. Yep. [01:18:58] Speaker A: That's crazy. I am, I've been getting more and more into Warhammer. [01:19:05] Speaker B: Oh boy. [01:19:06] Speaker A: I mean, without buying, buying a thousand dollar tabletop said no. But like I want to play like I would need to get the Space Marine 2. I want to play that game so bad because I like the first one a lot. I want to. [01:19:17] Speaker B: Okay. [01:19:17] Speaker A: I kind of wanted to play some of those like tactic ones. Yeah. So yeah, I mean, and I've this, I watched like, I started watching like Warhammer lore because this, this guy that runs the game club with me, he's like, he's always talking about Warhammer and like, gotta watch this. And so I, I, he's like, the mythos is nuts. I'm like, okay, fine, I'll watch this. And then Mythos are nuts. [01:19:43] Speaker B: Okay. [01:19:43] Speaker A: Once he told me about space vampires, I was like, oh, that's me. And then I was done. You know, I was told that's it. [01:19:51] Speaker B: You're, you're absolutely the space vampire. So that's awesome. Army of Darkness has reached every facet of pop culture. But now we're getting another piece. This is the board game. This is a tower defense game. It's coming out next year, February 2026 with Dynamite. And you know, don't know what to say other than it seems pretty cool. It's like a 60 minute game. So just kind of like another one of those fun Kickstarter type of games. [01:20:26] Speaker A: For sure. For sure. As we wait for more Evil Dead to come out, I mean it's, it's such a great, such a great franchise and it can go so many ways. And army of Darkness was really. It's so. It was such a funny progression for that. For that series. Right. To go into, like. [01:20:47] Speaker B: People hate army of Darkness because of that. [01:20:50] Speaker A: Right. Which, I mean, I watched Evil Dead 2 during my Halloween run and, you know, to remind myself of those times, and I was just like, yeah, what a funny transition for that to happen. And now I'm just like, yes. I wish they would make, like, another movie within that world or something. Like, I don't know. I. [01:21:09] Speaker B: We got the TV show. [01:21:11] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:21:11] Speaker B: You know, we've got a lot of comics, but I. I understand what you're saying. [01:21:16] Speaker A: Yeah. What a weird. I remember, like, a Choice video. I remember that stand up. I was like, what is this movie? Yeah. You know, it's just like. [01:21:25] Speaker B: As soon as I saw that Game Over, I watched that movie hundreds of times times. Like, perfect, kind of. J. Anytime people go back to fantasy times, I'm usually like, okay, this is Kid in King Arthur's Court. Sign me up. All right, so moving on, Red Dead Redemption 2 gets a massive mod, Nuevo Perisio, which is, like, all new missions, you get to go to Red Dead Redemption one's Mexico. John Marston is in it. So it's just. I mean, it looks quite pretty freaking amazing, honestly. [01:22:04] Speaker A: This is a fan mod, right? Yes, man. Like, yeah, every time these come out, I'm like, I want to play them so bad. And then, yeah, I have a Steam deck and I try. I try to do, like, Fallout London on my Steve. So, no, I. No, I just. I'm not savvy enough to make that work yet. So I've tried, but, yeah, I'm really jealous of people with computers when this happens. [01:22:31] Speaker B: This might be the time. So, yeah, that's coming out. And then also it's going to be hitting mobile, which is just insane that phones have the ability to run games like that. [01:22:46] Speaker A: On that note, I learned that, you know how we have Prime Gaming as a benefit to Amazon. It's like you. Yeah, you get the games for Epic and Gog and stuff, but also Luna, which is their streaming service. Yeah, I booted up a game on my phone. I was playing Alien Isolation the other day on my phone because somehow it freaking operates and it comes up with the GamePad on your phone. So you can hook up a GamePad if you want your phone. Bluetooth, but it ran on my phone. [01:23:19] Speaker B: Huh. [01:23:20] Speaker A: Yeah. So all of those Luna games, you can stream them on your phone. You don't have. [01:23:25] Speaker B: I was gonna say, then I can link it to my TV and play it on A like you said Bluetooth controller. [01:23:32] Speaker A: It was like, oh, I just try this. I didn't know that. And it was awesome. So there's a lot of games on Luna that you can play. Like, wow, all the Fallouts right now and stuff. It's like, it's a really neat thing. And like they sell a Luna controller. You know, you can buy that on Amazon if you want. You don't need it. [01:23:50] Speaker B: Well, now. Okay. I guess it's kind of like the Apple TV one, maybe. [01:23:58] Speaker A: I mean we're talking like AAA games. [01:24:01] Speaker B: Yeah, Apple TV is not AAA games. [01:24:04] Speaker A: But it's like it does, right? It's like how Netflix did like the games. Right. But it's different. [01:24:07] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Very soon. [01:24:10] Speaker A: I don't know how they did it, but they did it. [01:24:12] Speaker B: I don't know. They do it. And then probably should have linked these two together, but Vampire Crawlers is coming out. This is kind of like just in the same vein as one of those with a little bit of other, like, I don't know how to turn it, how to fix this out. [01:24:32] Speaker A: Yeah, I think it's, it. It leans more towards the robe, the Rog light. Right. [01:24:37] Speaker B: But it's got deck building in it. [01:24:39] Speaker A: And a deck building. [01:24:40] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:24:42] Speaker A: So whatever. [01:24:44] Speaker B: Listen, that studio, you know, I'm going to put a link right to it. Like they're just awesome. So let them, let them keep doing what they're doing. There you go. And then finally, just in video game news, it was announced a few days ago, the time of this recording, but the highest selling video games of all time. So I guess, do you want to guess what the number one is? And you got to think like all the things, you know, PC, etc. [01:25:12] Speaker A: Even if after I just looked at it. Oh, you looked at it. Okay, I know what it is. I mean it's Minecraft. [01:25:17] Speaker B: Yeah, Minecraft, you know, so Minecraft doesn't surprise me. Now Grand Theft Auto 5 kind of also doesn't surprise me. The game has been. It's still going strong technically. Number three, Wii Sports, which does surprise me. Number four is what surprised me. Red Dead Redemption 2, that doesn't surprise me either. [01:25:42] Speaker A: Red Dead Redemption was one of the greatest video games of all time. [01:25:45] Speaker B: But why is it Red Dead Redemption. [01:25:48] Speaker A: One higher up think because everybody's anticipating the sequel so much and it was probably, I don't know, priced more. I don't know, inflation wise. I don't know what. I don't know how they look at this stuff. Right. [01:26:02] Speaker B: But this is Just units. [01:26:03] Speaker A: This is people. Oh, this is units. [01:26:05] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:26:06] Speaker A: Okay, then that's it then, right? Yeah. [01:26:09] Speaker B: Like they say. Okay. At the bottom. Tetris and Oregon Trail left off two disputes of different iterations. Because. Yeah, Tetris. I mean, I. Yeah, Tetris is probably. [01:26:20] Speaker A: Like Wii Sports blows my mind because it's specifically one console. That's what kind of gets it on. This too is like. But like we saved Nintendo, right? [01:26:31] Speaker B: Says Wii Sports was bundled. Nintendo included those in overall sales. [01:26:36] Speaker A: That's right. That's the other thing. It's like the number of Wiis that were sold changed the land landscape. Right. Again, yeah. Video gaming so that. And everybody could play Wii Sports. And that was so innovative. So that makes sense. Yeah, I mean, I guess you're buying it for schools. [01:26:52] Speaker B: You're doing it everywhere. [01:26:54] Speaker A: I get you on Reddit Redemption 2, but I mean, it is also an epic. Like when people start talking about that game. You got to go play that game. That game. [01:27:03] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:27:03] Speaker A: Is. Yeah, it's. It's a freaking movie like beyond it. [01:27:08] Speaker B: So I'm not going to go through the whole list. I'll leave a link in there, but just thought it was a pretty, pretty neat little infographic. [01:27:15] Speaker A: The Witcher Wild Hunt is awesome. Super Mario Brothers beyond that is great too though. I like that. It's amazing that Super Mario Brothers won because again, something that changed. [01:27:27] Speaker B: Changed the very landscape. But then it's like. Yeah, I don't know. [01:27:32] Speaker A: No, say it. [01:27:34] Speaker B: No, I just. There's some games that you think. Think would be higher. You know what I mean? But then I guess I'm not like Grand Theft Auto 3. It changed the way I mean video games, period. You know what I mean? It really did change everything because we never had open world like. Like that. And so. But I understand why 5 is. Because 5 is just such an expansion on everything that 3 and 4 did. And then it. They made the online game and it's like that game, that community is still wildly going strong. Sorry. [01:28:12] Speaker A: So anyway, you know what? You know what though? I believe maybe Red Dead Redemption 2 also was. The Red Dead Online was LinkedIn bundle in with that at first too. Like you had to buy Red Dead 2 in order to get the online. And then they kind of broke away from that. So I. That could be a two. I just. [01:28:31] Speaker B: Yeah. Good list. Anyway, Chris, where can you find us? [01:28:39] Speaker A: If you go to your local library and you find the microfiche, you can research DFATEntertainment.com and it's a little website and the main website is Dontforgetatowel.com of all things geekly and the show and then on the interwebs, if you use social media unlike I, you can hashtag dfatent and probably find us in the multitude of posts since 2012. [01:29:12] Speaker B: There you go. This is Casey saying thank you guys for listening and go read your comics. [01:29:19] Speaker A: And this is Chris saying don't forget a towel.
